The distance to Sultanahmet (Old City) is 31 km from Sabiha Gokcen Airport(SAW), If you landing at Istanbul Airport(IST) is 35 km to Sultanahmet. This is why the total transfer to the Old City takes around 50 minutes and to City center 1 hour. Always changing to the traffic.
